The Guacheneque Páramo, in the municipality of Villapinzón, is the water source of the Bogota river (Río Bogotá). Pure, transparent and full of life. A few kilometres downstream, the most important river of the capital becomes heavily polluted, acquiring the title of the second most polluted in the world since 2014. Despite the fact that more than 10 million people depend on it, not many take action to reduce or diminish the damage caused. This project shows the harsh truth about the shocking differences that exist in the flow of the riverbed before and after crossing Bogota city.
